The American Heart Association (AHA)

Who are the AHA?

The American Heart Association (AHA) is a nonprofit organization in the United
States that funds cardiovascular medical research, educates consumers on
healthy living and fosters appropriate cardiac care in an effort to reduce disability
and deaths caused by cardiovascular disease and stroke
The American Heart Association is the premier provider in quality, evidence-based
science and continuing education for millions of health care professionals
annually, primarily through training courses, peer-reviewed journals and scientific
meetings.
The AHA is the leader in resuscitation science, education and training, publishing
CPR guidelines and training over 23 million health care professionals, caregivers
and the public yearly.

WECO Academy’s Relationship with the AHA

WECO Academy is the first official AHA Training site in all of Iraq!

WECO Academy is affiliated with the Beirut Arab University Life
Support Center (BAULS), which is an AHA Training Center located in Beirut,
Lebanon.

Through this relationship, we are  able to provide AHA Accredited
training for the first time ever in Iraq.
We are very proud to be able to provide the high-quality training of the AHA to
Iraqi healthcare professionals and the general public in our home country,
without the need to travel abroad to get such training.
