HSI Basic Life Support (HSI BLS) Course
The purpose Of the HSI BLS training program is for participants to gain or improve knowledge and skill proficiency in high-quality CPR skills and teamwork for the adult child and infant.
HSI BLS has been approved by the HSI Medical Advisory Board and reviewed by the HSI Advisory Council.
Reflects the latest resuscitation science and treatment recommendations published by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR).
Conforms with the 2020 American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines update for CPR.
Who should take this course?
BLS is geared towards in-facility hospital providers i.e. Nurses and doctors, and
prehospital providers, like EMTs, paramedics and fire fighters.
Duration:
4-5 hours
Class size:
The maximum class size is 10 students to provide the best learning experience.
After Registration, the student will be provided with the HSI BLS Provider eBook
which contains all the necessary materials that are needed for the course exam.
Completion Criteria:
The participant needs to pass 2 exams in order to complete the course.
The first exam is theoretical containing MCQs regarding topics discussed during
the course and in the HSI BLS eBook.
The second is a Scenario Based Skill test in which the student demonstrates that
he mastered the BLS skills taught in the course.
Upon completion you will be provided with a course completion BLS Provider
Certificate and wallet card.
