HSI Advanced Cardiac Life Support (HSI ACLS) Course

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) program is a scenario (case-based) continuing education course intended for trained and skilled healthcare providers who either direct or participate in cardiopulmonary emergencies and resuscitation efforts. This ACLS certification course is designed to provide students with an opportunity to enhance and refine knowledge and hands-on skill proficiency in emergency cardiovascular care. The ACLS training program has been updated to accompany the ACLS Study Guide, 6th Edition and the ACLS Ebook Study Guide, 6th Edition, published by Elsevier.

Who should take this course?

ACLS course is recommended for healthcare professionals who may have to respond to cardiac emergencies and/or strokes. This includes but is not limited to the following:Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics and Healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies.

Duration:

About 15 hours over 2 days of training

Class size:

The maximum class size is 10 students to provide the best learning experience. After Registration, the student will be provided with the HSI ACLS Provider eBook which contains all the necessary materials that are needed for the course exam.

Completion Criteria:

The participant needs to pass 2 exams in order to complete the course. The first exam is theoretical containing MCQs regarding topics discussed during the course and in the HSI ACLS eBook. The second is a Scenario Based Skill test in which the student demonstrates that he mastered the ACLS skills taught in the course. Upon completion you will be provided with a course completion HSI ACLS Provider Certificate and wallet card.
